I had three Christmas parties to do for the kids' classes this year. It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun too! We set the classes into stations. One table was a card making factory (no big surprise there!). I thought it would be fun for the kids to make some things to give as gifts. I made 2 card kits for each child- the snowman and holly. I cut all the pieces out on the cricut, put them in a baggie with a card, envelope, ribbon and buttons. I brought my punches and stamps and let the kids decorate them how they wanted. They loved it, even the boys really got into it. The next station was to make a cocoa cone (see pic above). We took Wilton icing bags and filled them with 3/4 cup of cocoa and tied it off and cut off the excess plastic. Then we slipped the cocoa bag into another Wilton bag. Next 1/2 cup of marshmellows were added and then topped off with 1/4 cup chocolate chips. After tying that off we put a ribbon and tag explaining that the cone makes 2 servings of hot cocoa. This is the saying on the inside of the tag: "Usually cones are freezing, But this one will warm you up! Just add some hot water and stir into your favorite cup!"
