Teacher Appreciation Card

These were cute teacher appreciation cards I made using the Just Because cart.  I embellished with baker's twine and buttons.  I also cuttlebugged some of the words and rubbed ink over it to make it show up so much better.  I inked all the edges and used a gelly roll pen for the faux stitching.  Have a great day!

Valentine Scavenger Hunt

Our yearly Valentine Tradition is to have a "Valentine Scavenger Hunt".  This will be our 4th year to do it, and it is something we all look forward to.  This year I used Jana Eubanks idea from the Circle blog where she made a New Year's Bucket with envelopes that included activities to do every hour.  I made a Valentine bucket and placed envelopes inside with the clues (where to find their goodies).  I think they will enjoy randomly picking out the cards for clues each time.  Now I just have to go get all the treats!  I better hurry up with that.  Here are pics of the bucket and envelopes.  Later when I get all their loot together I'll show a post of that too.  Have a great day!

The "Happy Valentine's Day" on the bucket is from the Celebrate Flourish cart.

I used seeing spots, divine swirls, and swiss dots cuttlebug folders on the envelopes.

Heart font is from Rock Princess cart.

I got this cute ribbon at Hobby Lobby.

Circle Blog Weekly Challenge

Well I'm finally getting back into a routine after the crazy weather last week.  The kids go back to school today, so hopefully I'll get the house back into order and resume crafting. Hee-hee!  I did get to finish the challenge for this weeks circle blog.  I did a layout for some of last years summer pictures.  It was nice to look at the warm sunny pictures while the weather outside was soooo cold.  My 3 shapes to repeat were the waves which I also embossed with the divine swirls cuttlebug folder.  I used my sparkle spray ink on the flip flops and the sun.  I used the H20 and Life's a beach carts for this layout.  Hope these  pages make you dream of wonderful summer days to come!  Have a great day!

Here's the info about the challenge:

"Weekly Challenge #19: Whatevah! Challenge

“Whatevah!” is a phrase a lot of parents of teens hear around their house on daily basis. We thought we’d take that phrase to heart for this next challenge. What we’d like you to do is use WHATEVAH shape you would like, but be sure to repeat it three times on your project. Project must also include spray ink and must be newly created for this challenge."
