Feeling Frosty Challenge

Hello everyone! I have a challenge to post today for the Cricut Circle Blog. I had so much fun making this 2 page scrapbook layout. This is what the blog asked us to do: " With the challenge this week keeping with our theme of Feeling Frosty, we are challenging you to use white paint, a snowflake and something metal." I used the white paint to make the snowy hills. After painting hand cut thin cardboard, while it was still wet, I sprinkled MS glitter all over. It worked great and when it was dry the glitter was really implanted in the paint. I made my winter tree out of floral wire (something metal) and the little snowflakes on the tree are brads that have the pointy parts cut off. The snowflakes are all from the Winter Lace cart. I put pop dots in between the shadow and the regular cut of the snowflakes to give them dimension and added blue rhinestones for bling. My snowman was cut from the Winter Wonderland cart at 4 inches as was the journal tag at 2 1/2 with the shadow behind it at 2 3/4. The "Winter Fun" cut was from Winter Wonderland as well.

Here are the materials used for this project:

Blue foil paper from AC Specialty papers
Other paper from DCWV
Winter Lace Cart
Winter Wonderland Cart
Rhinestones- Recollections
Glitter- Martha Stuart
Sewing machine for snowflake stitching
Floral wire
Snowflake brads
Pop dots
